I was upstairs putting the sheets on the guest bed in preparation for my parents' arrival this evening when Maren decided to 'help' me cook by pouring the entire dish of kosher salt (a small square Pyrex refrigerator dish) and a goodly part of the pepper all over the top of the chocolate cake I had cooling so I can make this dessert.
A second cake is in the oven. Her grandparents cannot possibly arrive soon enough.
Oh my...sorry I couldn't help but giggle, I have a just about 4 year old daughter who loves to help with everything and that is surely something I could picture her doing. Kids...gotta love em :o)
