We're back! It was a long trip, full of family, fun and food (my tight jeans will attest to that), but we're glad to be home. I've spent two days cleaning up the pre-trip disaster we left the house in, just so that I can drag out the Christmas boxes and undecorate. Unfortunately, we're all in various stages of suffering through a nasty chest cold so I think our New Year's Eve plans will involve Nyquil and an early bedtime, rather than inviting the neighbors over for a little Guitar Hero III and The Pioneer Woman's Bacon Appetizers, which is how we'd hoped to celebrate. Whee! Par-tay at my house tonight. Maybe we can still get a buzz off the Nyquil, right?

Tick-tock, tick-tock

I'm sorry you and the fam are feeling ill--but there's nothing like a little Nyquil buzz so I'm sure you'll be back to normal in no time. After our New Year's festivities, we rocked in the New Year last night with a Singstar competition (till 3:30 am...LOL)! We had a battle between the parents and preteenies that were up way past their bedtime, but it was lots of fun. I'm suffering today though.. :)
