Is this not HILARIOUS? This picture is from the July 2008 issue of Family Fun magazine and I literally laughed out loud when I turned the page! You can click on the photo to enlarge it and read the text. This is from the new book Hello, Cupcake! (the author is an editor with Family Fun) which I haven't yet seen but am anxiously awaiting from the library. I'm SO making these cupcakes this summer, if it means I have to create an occasion to do so. They're just too darn clever to pass up!
I think those are adorable too--my kids are dying to make them as well. I love that magazine!
ReplyDeleteSo, I just bought this book, and I have to say, it's AMAZING! I can't wait to try out every single idea. They are all made with candies, not yucky tasting fondant. Go buy it. It's brilliant.

ReplyDeleteOh those are great!! It reminds me of an March issue from ??? not sure what year but they did an April fools dinner that looked like breakfast foods. I can't remember what they all had just how clever it all was. Such a great Mag!

They had the cupcake lady on the (horrible) third hour of the Today show with Kathie Lee a week or so ago and I LOVED that cupcake segment. So many cute things.
