I've said it before, but these bits & pieces collages are SO much fun to make. I love having a way to use up all the precious little treasures I've collected, and a 3"x3" square is a whole lot less intimidating to fill, even if there are a dozen of them to do. I think this is my 5th bits & pieces collage, and it certainly won't be my last.Hope you're all enjoying the weekend. I'm going to try to get the house cleaned up today so I can start bringing up the Christmas boxes. I can't wait to get a look at all of my vintage Christmas pretties again!
I love your collage - it is very sweet. I've spent most of the afternoon sitting in the floor saying, "I FORGOT ABOUT THAT!" as I pulled out my treasures. I have done a lot of Christmas swaps, plus my crazy thrift store bulk bying, so there is plenty of "new" old stuff to find!
ReplyDeleteHope your life is getting back to *normal* after last week!
The collage is great! It's given me an idea, I have an old printer's drawer that I've been trying to figure out where/how to use and I think maybe I'll use it with seasonal things that I can change with the seasons.
ReplyDeleteit looks great!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet. You have the best bits and pieces.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collage! I like all the little elements you used in each square.
ReplyDeleteHeidi-I love your Thanksgiving collage! We all should keep a bit of what we make--I know I sometimes regret selling some of the pieces I make..lol Or rather, I wish I would have kept it for a bit longer to at least appreciate for a while before it moved on to its new home. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteYour Thanksgiving collage is just wonderful!
