This should have been added to yesterday's thrift report but I couldn't get Blogger to upload my photo. Blogger may be free, but it may be one of those "you get what you pay for" cases. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and switch to TypePad.
Anyway, this bracelet was the absolute SCORE of that thrifting trip! It's vintage Coro and it is in perfect condition. The stones are all there and they are red with an aurora borealis coating. This bracelet is just gorgeous! I wore it yesterday and had to keep looking at my wrist to admire it, LOL! The best part? It was only $4.95!! That, my friends, is an absolute steal!
In just about 40 minutes I'm going to pack up Maren and head to the airport to pick up my Mom, who's coming to visit for the weekend. We're headed down to southern Colorado tomorrow to visit my grandparents for a few days. I'm hoping to squeeze in a little trip to the junk shop in their small town. The junk is deep and the prices are cheap--just the way I like it!
Yes, a move to Typepad is so worth it. To me, the time I save from everything working so efficiently is worth it to me. I like things very easy when it comes to the computer and fast. I can't believe you found that bracelet. It is stunning. Enjoy your mother's visit and your trip to the junk shop. I look forward to hearing about what you find.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I'm a sucker for anything sparkly and the more vintage the better! JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS ;)
ReplyDeleteAs for TypePad, I know my friend uses it and she doesn't love it but she also said she thinks she could learn to use it better and be happer. I also use blog spot and have problems but like you said, ti's free so I'm trying not to complain but it's getting difficult . .
Gorgeous bracelet. What's the background? Great colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm also regularly frustrated with blogger, but loyalty is one of my best (and worst) qualities. I keep hoping they'll add categories soon.
I just found your blog (through Thrifty Goodness) and am really enjoying it.
And my name is Heidi too!
Heidi, I was so confused when I saw your comment in my Inbox because I knew I didn't have to approve my own comments! LOL Underneath the bracelet is a wool afghan I also bought but forgot to mention. I don't crochet or knit yet so I don't know what they're called, but they look like little puffy knot ball thingies. (very technical explanation, right) The blanket was washed so it felted up and all those little balls ended up looking like this. Kinda cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bracelet! And the price is SOOO right! Thanks for sharing your treasures with us. How did the visit with Mom go & the junk shop excursion?
