Fourth of July Muffin tin table

I LOVE the Fourth of July. I think it's my third favorite holiday to decorate for, after Halloween and Christmas. My house is decorated with lots of red and blue so it's always nice when my holiday decorations actually match my walls instead of clashing! For some reason this year I've been really uninspired in my patriotic decorating, however. Not sure why, but I'm pinning some of the blame on the lame-o patriotic decor features in Country Living and Better Homes & Gardens this year. Come on, guys! I know you can do better than that. I'm totally missing Mary Engelbreit Home Companion & Country Home magazines this year.

The one thing that I didn't have any trouble decorating is my muffin tin table. This is still my favorite piece of furniture in the house! Here's how I've decorated it for Fourth of July:
I love creating all the little vignettes and digging through my stashes of stuff to fill each well. Since it matches my house so well, I might just be leaving this holiday decor up all summer.

  2. A most terrific tin display! OK ... HOW do you make perfect rosettes like your PERFECT r/w/b one? I know how to sew & gather one, but I get a different look. - Amy Bauer

  4. I always enjoy your muffin tin displays! Now I need to find some of that cute striped crepe paper and make some pin wheels!

    Have a happy 4th!
